New police security booth delivered for Tulum Hotel Zone

Local businessmen in Tulum have come together to deliver a new security booth for the Tulum Hotel Zone, aiming to bolster public safety in the area. Governor Mara Lezama expressed her support for this initiative, highlighting its importance in a recent statement.

The newly constructed booth, equipped with security cameras, a command office, medical facilities, and more, was officially handed over to the municipal government and the Secretary of the Navy on Monday. Governor Mara Lezama herself attended the opening ceremony.

Situated next to the Shibari Hotel, this security booth is well-equipped to serve its purpose. To formalize the handover, an agreement is set to be signed between the group of investors, the Secretary of the Navy, and the Municipality of Tulum. This collaborative effort underscores the community’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents and visitors in Tulum.
